![]() ![]() I really love the digipad (suchs digipads as the one of the GPD G7 would be a no go for me). I know which feeling you mean I would compare it with the Wii U Controller Pro in terms of feeling and button layout, because for Retro games you ignore the analog sticks and it feels like a retro controller and if you use a stick its above the buttons and the d-pad just like on the Wii U s controllers. I also find it more comfortable than my PS3 controller. I played several times with the Wii U Gamepad and if I compare the comfort level of those two the Gametab wins by far. There are many people who complain about the feeling of a PS3 controller, I am none of these persons therefore some people who prefer the much more comfortable 360 controller may doubt my experience.įor me the controller feels just great. I only own PS1, PS2, PS3, Wii, Gamecube (and SNES as well es some Handelds) therefore I cannot compare the feeling with the 360 controller or those of the current gen. ![]() Once it is released, if I can't import it myself to the US I will definitely take you up on getting one shipped to me eventually - and of course I'll compensate you for your time and expenses, but I'll see if I can ship it directly to myself first as that would obviously be the easiest route. The worst offenders are survival horror games, which are my favorite games of the era I prefer to play almost all PS1 games with dpad, as I feel many of them are degraded by using the analogs since the games were not built for them. The dpad being positioned directly below the Left Stick on the Game Grip/Tab makes me worry that it will similarly be uncomfortable. This is a big issue I have with the GPD G7 - the shoulder buttons are very uncomfortable to operate while keeping my thumb positioned over/on the Dpad, and I have rather long fingers. Most importantly: Is it easy/comfortable to reach both shoulder buttons while using the Dpad? Is there a particular (well known) controller that they "feel" similar to? Obviously the layout resembles a 360 controller, but I'm talking more about the feel in terms of the way it fits in your hand, the movement of your thumb and fingers when positioned over the controls in various configurations, etc. How does its comfort level compare to "first party" console controllers? Maybe I missed your original comments on the Gametab's controls, but mind if I ask you a few brief questions about them? Yeah I didn't think Geekbuying or Willgoo would have them since they don't come from asia, but I'm pretty sure Geekbuying at least has a US warehouse, so it's possible they stock them if there was enough demand. Has anyone in the US ever ordered from .uk or - will they ship to the US? Plus it frees you up to separate your tablet from the game controls for those times where you want to use it like a normal tablet without getting funny looks from everyone thinking you're trying to play games at work or something I just hope this thing works better than the iPega - I didn't order one of those thankfully, but I'm just not confident that JXD or GPD will ever release a tablet with good enough controls, and their specs are always behind anyway, so bolting one of these onto something like a Nexus 7 or Shield Tablet seems like the best all around solution. ![]() Or worst case scenario we find someone here on the forums who is trustworthy and pay them the cost of the device+shipping+a few extra bucks to have them order one and send it to us.
